About Us
Environment SEWA Foundation (ESF) is a non-profit organization established in 2021, committed to advancing environmental sustainability and holistic community development. With a vision to drive grassroots change, SEWA designs and implements responsible waste management and recycling solutions across urban and rural areas, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

To implement holistic environmental solutions that empower communities, promote circular economy practices, and align with national and global sustainability goals.
Our Purpose
Environment SEWA Foundation works to improve the environment in both rural and urban areas by creating sustainable livelihood opportunities, uplifting work conditions, and integrating ragpickers and Self-Help Groups (SHGs) into inclusive systems. With a strong focus on women empowerment, SEWA ensures their participation across key activities to foster gender equity and community resilience.
By promoting sustainable projects that are both commercially and socially viable, the foundation aligns its efforts with global priorities such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—advancing climate action, circular economy, and inclusive development.
